me: Anubis is the god of embalming, and WAS the god of dead but since good ol' Osiris came down, he became god of the dead. Now Anubis is kinda like Hermes; he guides the dead to the underworld.
Bob: And it's not the god of death; it's the god of the dead. Those are two very different things.
me: I like this picture though. But. . . Anubis is a jackel, and as for that website you went to for info on Anubis. . . Well, it's wrong. And Anubis is right; Anubis WAS the Egyptian god of dead and the patron of mummification.
