The Heartless, They Take

Spoiler for chapter 10 of Pheniox Fiasco. (On FF.net)
Edward makes a deal with darkness, his serveses to them, for Al's body. An equivelent Exchange that spells certain disaster.What Ed didn't expect is that he'd be taken into darkness right away, or that Sora would be there to stop him.
As sora reaches out, grabs Ed's left arm and tries to pull him to safety, he realizes he is too late. Darkness has him now.
Ed lookes to Sora, his body half way into the dark portal with the heartless hands that pull him in, he says softly, "Take care of him." and is swallowed by the darkness. the portal shuts on Sora, as he looks back to the nine year old Alphonse.
